We're often told that electric cars are too expensive, and that people won't make the transition from internal combustion to electric until electric cars can travel as far (if not further) than their internal combustion engined counterparts, are full of tech, and have a super-low price tag.
Right now, those same critics say, nobody will pick an electric car because they're out of reach and don't have the right specifications.
But in Europe, a great litmus test between the brand-new 2020 Peugeot 208 and its all-electric sibling, the 2020 Peugeot e208, shows that when prices are comparable, people will pick electric.
Is this the model that other automakers will follow? We think it should be.
