A domestique's job is primarily to save their leader as much energy as possible.
They will protect them from the wind by riding in front of them, pace them back on after any problems, and place them in the
best position possible for crucial points in the race.
They will also go back to the car to collect food, bottles, or clothing, swap wheels or even bikes if their leader has a problem when the team car isn't near enough.
If your leader is doing particularly well, domestiques will defend the race lead by keeping rivals in check.
